Great cabins where the camping dream once began, out on the "island" of Jølstraholmen. The cabins have tiles on all floors with heating. There is a patio with a roof overhang both in front and behind the cabin, so you get extra hours of sunshine here. The cabins have one bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen, tiled bathroom and flat screen.

Yes, in all cabins except our Suites. However, they are not allowed to climb on furniture and beds. We recommend giving them a little pep talk before the trip.
No, unfortunately, we do not allow sleeping bags to keep pests away. After all, we have a reputation to maintain as a pest-free destination!
Yes, for an additional fee, this can be ordered for all our cabins—either as ready-to-use bedding or fully made-up beds. In the suites, made-up beds are included. That means less work for you!

All accommodations have their own parking right outside the unit. No need to drag your suitcase for miles.
For all guests the playground, water slide, use of SUP and kayak in the swimming pond are included. Everything you need to keep the kids (and yourself) busy.
Bicycle rental, kayak/SUP/canoe in Jølstravatnet, firewood (except for the suites where it is included), breakfast and sauna are extra. Because some things in life actually cost money.
The reception is currently located at YX Jølstraholmen. A new reception and welcome center will be ready in 2025. Yes, we are a bit nomadic at the moment.

Cancellations can be made online for free up to 14 days before arrival. If you’re unable to do so, send us an email at booking@jolstraholmen.no and we’ll take care of it for you. If it’s past the 14-day window, most guests have travel insurance that covers any reasons preventing them from coming.
Send us an email at booking@jolstraholmen.no and we will contact the cleaning staff if it has been found. We can send items by post, but then the recipient must cover shipping and an administration fee of 89 NOK. Don't worry, we will take good care of your remains.
Check-in is between 15:00 and 22:00, and check-out is before 11:00. If practical, you can request early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee-because no one likes to stress about time!
It is possible, but a request must be sent by email well in advance, and there will be a fee for administration and any pickup of goods. Individual packages may include special services, in which case it is covered. We're ready to celebrate!
Not for use inside the cabins. Perfume can be applied in the bathroom, and the rest should be done outside. Please be considerate of the guests coming after you, as they may have different preferences when it comes to scents.
Put everything back in its place before departure. The cleaning staff already have plenty to do without having to play detective to find what belongs in the cabins.
Yes, you can, but make sure your pet is on a leash and pick up any “gifts” it leaves behind.
Our prices include electricity for campers and caravans. If you need your own electricity for your tent, it will be an additional charge.
No, this is included. We like to keep things simple.
For campers and caravans there is a CEE socket. If you need a CEE to chuko (regular plug), we sell this at reception. Power to the people!
