An old barn with new life
Restaurant Kraftverket is located in the old barn on Jølstraholmen. This was once home to animals, hay and everyday life associated with the farm. Today, the barn has been restored and filled with warmth, light, smell and taste.
The name Kraftverket is about both the energy from our own power plant at Jølstra – and the power of a good meal. For us, the restaurant is a place where people can gather, relax and get a fill of energy.

The season decides
Our menu changes with the season, ingredients and what the kitchen wants to highlight. We like to use local and Norwegian ingredients, and combine the familiar with little surprises.
