Outside the window, the river flows fresh and cool. Inside the sauna, the heat sinks deep into your bones.
In the sauna's homeland, they call the steam "löyli". Finns can discuss good löyli the way the French discuss fine wine. In the new riverside sauna you can feel the good steam purifying both body and mind.
Outside the window, the river flows fresh and cool. Inside the sauna, the heat creeps right into your marrow. Muscles and tendons soften in the pleasant steam. Lower blood pressure and a better night's sleep are among the documented benefits of a visit to the sauna on your health.
After a wet and fresh mountain hike, a long day on the ski slopes or hours in the river with a fishing rod, there is nothing better than being embraced by the heat and steam in the sauna. Outside is the swimming pool when you need to cool down. Here there is only you and those you want to be with. The heat and cold do wonders for both the body and the soul.
