The name Jølstraholmen orginate from the location of the campsite at the beginning. It all started on the islet that is encircled by the river Jølstra. Jølstraholmen currently has 10 high standard cabins and 60 caravan sites. Thereis a supermarket, gas station, cafeteria and a hairdresser on the site, and many attractions and activities in the area.
